For the second year running, SBSA Advogados has received the seal from the SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation and the Totum Institute for offsetting the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by the firm.
The compensation for 2022 was achieved by planting 91 seedlings of trees native to the Atlantic Forest, the biome that continues to be the most threatened in our country.
The planting took place in the second half of 2023, after the conclusion of the report prepared by the Totum Institute, which assessed the emissions of our office units in São Paulo and Curitiba. Among other parameters, the analysis considered electricity consumption, land and air transportation and the so-called “fugitive emissions” generated by the use of air conditioning.
