Religion and faith have been sensitive issues since time immemorial. For this reason, and some others that are also important, religious freedom is one of the inalienable rights recognized in the 1793 Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, which has been guaranteed in the main international treaties and conventions since the French Revolution.
In the contemporary world, several legal disputes on religious grounds are brought before the courts, both individually and nationally. Although the first set of laws established by mankind was made in the name of God, today several secular laws can affect freedom of religion, which sometimes conflicts with other fundamental rights, such as freedom of expression and freedom of association.
Churches help individuals to deal with spiritual issues. We both help both in dealing with worldly issues, such as statutory reform, restructuring of church councils, disciplinary procedures, wills and bequests, tax exemptions , and fundraising strategies.
