We advise Brazilian and international organizations of various sizes on building a data governance structure. Our advice ranges from mapping to drafting and reviewing personal data protection policies and specific clauses on the subject, aiming at ensuring that these organizations comply with the Brazilian regulatory ecosystem on the subject.
Given our extensive experience with civil society organizations, we also advise on projects carried out in partnership with the state. In this process, we usually evaluate and propose clauses in order to correctly allocate the responsibilities for the protection of personal data that come from the state, by reviewing the legal instruments that regulate this type of relationship.
We also work to train teams in organizations to understand the law and handle personal data correctly, with the aim of empowering teams so that they are able to implement data protection measures from the outset of projects, in a preventive rather than reactive manner.
Finally, we seek to integrate the understanding of the general compliance governance structure and the data protection governance structure, combining expertise in both fields to offer precise and innovative solutions to our clients.
