Law 8.078/1990 – Consumer Protection Code – brought important rights to the most vulnerable part of consumer relations: the consumer. Such rights seek to strengthen the figure of the consumer, in order to balance the relationship established with the supplier, which includes: producer, manufacturer, importer, trader and service provider.
